CALL FOR PAPERS
IDENTITY STUDIES '18 / III. International Interdisciplinary Conference on Identity and Philosophy of the Self will be held at Nippon Meeting Halls in Istanbul. The conference is coordinated by DAKAM (Eastern Mediterranean Academic Research Center) and will be organized by BILSAS (Science, Art, Sport Productions).
All abstracts are going to be selected according to double blind reviews and accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings E-Book with an ISBN number that will be given to you in a DVD box during conference registration.
We invite you to join us at the event in Istanbul and would like to emphasize that proposals from different parts of the world are welcomed.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Özgür Sevgi Göral, founding member of Hafıza Merkezi, received her BA in Istanbul University Faculty of Law. She received her MA from Bosphorus University Atatürk Institute for Modern Turkish History with a thesis on juvenile delinquency and penitentiaries in the early republican era. Currently, she is working on her doctoral thesis on state violence during the 1990s and enforced disappearances to be presented to the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. She is a member of Istanbul Bar Association since 2009 and taught in Istanbul Technical University, Yıldız Technical University, Sabancı University and Boğaziçi University. She also worked as advisor in the Constitution Reconciliation Commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey between 2012-2013.
