​Irma Ratiani is a Georgian literary scholar, editor and translator. She is a professor of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, head of the department of General and Comparative Literary Studies, Director of Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature. She is an Honorable President of the Georgian Comparative Literature Association (GCLA).

Prof. Jale Parla

Bilgi University, Turkey

Jale Parla has finished Arnavutkoy American College in 1964 and then, she has studied Comparative Literature in Robert College in 1968. In 1978, she has completed her doctorate on Comparative Literature in English Literature as major and French and German Literature as minor branches at Harvard University in 1978. Between 1976 – 2000 she has worked as Lecturer at Bogazici University on the Department of Western Languages and Literatures. She is professor at Bilgi University, Department of Comparative Literature now.

Author of more than 50 published scholarly articles and the monograph “Some Problems of Poetics of Rustaveli’s Poem “The Knight in the Panther’s Skin” in Typological Relationship with French Chivalry Romance” (2005). A member of International Comparative Literature Association and Georgian Comparative Literature Association; Editor in chief of a Scientific Literary Review “Literary Researches”.

Prof. Mediha Göbenli

Yeditepe University, Turkey

​Mediha GÖBENLİ teaches since 2000 comparative literature at Yeditepe University. She has published Zeitgenössische türkische Frauenliteratur (Comparative Turkish Women’s Literature) (Berlin, 2003) and Direnmenin Estetiğine Güven (Faith in the Aesthetics of the Resistance) (Istanbul, 2005), a comparative analysis of Peter Weiss’s Die Ästhetik des Widerstands and Vedat Türkali’s novel Güven (Faith). She has also published journal articles and book chapters on Comparative Women’s Literature, Exile and Literature, Migrants’ Literature, and Turkish Literature.

Fani Miranda Tabak is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Literary studies at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro, Brazil. She completed her PhD in comparative literature by the São Paulo State University “Julio de Mesquita” and Post Doctorate in the University of Nottingham with emphasis on gender studies and historiography in Latin America. She is a Post graduate group member of ANPOLL Women and Literature, with a project on memory and women writers. Periodicals and journals peer reviewer and the coordinator of the “Lyrical novel, literary and gender historiography” research group hosted in the CNPq platform. One of the Intertext Journal publishers and collaborator in various committees and programs.

Assist. Prof. Robin L. Fetherston

Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar

Robin Fetherston teaches writing, research methods, and literature to undergraduate students. Currently she is teaching Detective Fiction, an upper-level course that she recently developed. Robin is a co-coordinator of The Education City Liberal Arts & Social Sciences Research Forum, which offers a conference type platform for faculty members from the six universities. 

Assist. Prof. Sonia Farid

Sonia Farid is an Assistant Professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. She got her M.A. in Comparative Literature and her Ph.D. in Hispanic-American Literature. She is a member and former coordinator of the Fulbright Alumni Humanities Circle in Egypt, a board member of the English Department Graduates Club, member of the Cairo-based Consultative Committee of al-Ahram Center for Translation, and member of the organizing committee of the International Symposium of Comparative Literature at Cairo University. She was a Junior Research Specialist at the University of California Santa Cruz in 2006-2007 and a Visiting Scholar at the University of California Berkley in 2013-2014. Her research interests include comparative literature, ethnic American literature, women’s writing, cultural studies, and political fiction. She is also a translator, editor, and political columnist.

Assist. Prof. Yasemin Guniz Sertel

Yasemin Güniz Sertel is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of American Culture and Literature at Istanbul University, where she teaches History of Criticism, American Drama, American Short Story, Post-War American Literature, Modern American Novel and American Cultural History courses. She has completed her M.A. and Ph. D in the  same department and her Ph.D thesis was titled “The Problem of Female Autonomy: Women in Marsha Norman’s Plays.” She is also a peer reviewer in The Journal of The International Relations and Diplomacy
