We respectfully announce that TOURAVEL '19 / VI. International Tourism, Travel and Leisure Conference will be held this year.

The tourism as an industrial choice has the potential, not only to be the most important source for understandings of intercultural things like local uniqueness and cultural diversity but also of the leader option for the economy.
In this context, the industry must provide the ways to improve these specialities in a sustainable way. As mentioned in the themes section there are a lot of topics around tourism to discuss and enlighten. Because of their economic importance, sustainability and other financial aspects wil be more and more important in time.
Since 2014, more than hundred presentations by scholars from different places of the world has been hosted by DAKAM's TOURAVEL Conferences have been published. So, ,n this year we are waiting for your contributions to develop this area.
We would like to remind you that all abstracts are going to be selected according to double blind reviews and accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings E-Book with an ISBN number that will be given to you in a DVD box during conference registration.

Z. Dilistan Shipman graduated from İstanbul University Economy and completed her MBA and PhD on marketing at Yeditepe University. She got the Kitchen Management certificate from England. She is currently working at Bilgi University as the Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department.
She had given Turkish Cuisine and Culture courses at Aachen Volkhochschule/Germany. She is also a columnist on food management and culture in various magazines and newspapers – recently “Dünya Gıda Dergisi”. Between the years of 2003-2008, she worked as the Assist. Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department. She made various publications among which is “Bread is a Passion”- 5th edition- and “Little Dishes Big Pleasures” which won the Gourmand Award in 2008. She has been teaching Bread making, Food &Beverage Management and Marketing, Restaurant Management, Financial Accounting, Consumer Behaviour in the Sector and Food History.

Nilüfer Agcakisla is a passionate Human Resources Development Professional from Istanbul. She attended Bogazici University, where she received her BA in Sociology in 2009. After working in HR Department of InterContinental Istanbul for two years, she moved to the United States for further studies of Human Resources.
She earned her certificate of Human Resources Management from University of California Los Angeles with distinction in 2012. Agcakisla is currently holding the position as the Training Manager of Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, the city’s newest top luxurious five star hotel with Asian concept. Because of her hard work and dedication during the opening period of the hotel last year, she has been selected as a Task Force Training Manager among 82 Hotels, to lead and support the successful opening of Shangri-La At The Shard, London.
